- Brief Profile: A Senior Wing of NCC with a sanctioned strength of 100 cadets is allotted to CKB Commerce College is Allotted every year. The sub-unit functions under the command of 9th Assam NCC Bn, Assam. The Motto of the NCC is ‘UNITY AND DISCIPLINE’.Chandra Kamal Bezbaruh Commerce College NCC unit was established in the 1966. Prof. Anil Chandra Sarma, Retd. Principal was the first NCC in charge. Under his sincere and able guidance our cadets could earn name and fame to the college. After that G C Baruah also run NCC Unit very sincerely and completed his term successfully with various achievements of cadets at National Level.

- Training of Cadets: Regular activities like Drill, Rifle Drill, Map Reading, Weapon Training, Field Craft and Battle Craft etc, are being imparted to the cadets as per the syllabus

- Teaching methods adopted to improve student learning:
Theoretical parts are taught by CTO and the practical classes are taught by Training officers appointed by NCC Officials.

- Participation in Institutional Social Responsibility (ISR) and Extension activities:
- On December 16, 2018 NCC students of the college took part in a Seminar on Water and Waterways Management hosted by Rotary Club of Jorhat in the conference Hall of Jorhat Planetarium. Retd. Prof. Dr. JN Sharma of Dibrugarh University, Retd. Chief Engineering of PHE, Guwahati. AK Pal, Retd. Prof.of POWEIT and alert citizen of Jorhat, Mr. Bhobho Chetia was amongst the Resource Persons.
- Awareness camp on “No use of plastic bag “was conducted on 22nd October, 2021 with total 20 cadets.
- Helped in Vaccination camp of COVID 19 on 13th and 14th May, 2021 in CKB COMMERCE COLLEGE CENTRE.
- Statue Cleaning Programme conducted on 12 December, 2020 by 7 cadets. Cleaned Thakurbari Jyotiprasad Agarwala Statue.
- Participated Yoga programme on 21st June, 2021.
