IGNOU, CKBCC Jorhat Study Centre (0410)
Chandra Kamal Bezbaruah Commerce College Study Centre (0410) of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) started in the year 1999. Mr. Sushil Borthakur was the first Coordinator and Mr. Santanu Thakur and Dr. Umen Dutta were the Assistant Coordinators of the Study Centre at that time. After that Sri Santanu Thakur was appointed as the Coordinator while Dr. Sanjib Baruah and Sri Moni Ram Lahon served as the Assistant Coordinators. Then Dr. Sanjib Baruah and Dr. Gobinda Deka were appointed as Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator respectively of this Study Centre. This committee was followed by the next one with Dr. Gobinda Deka as the Coordinator and Dr. Sarat Borah, Sri Dimbeswar Borah and Dr. Raju Roy as Assistant Coordinators. At present, the Study Centre is functioning with Dr. Sarat Borah as the Coordinator and Sri Dimbeswar Borah, Dr. Raju Roy and Sri Prosanto Mandal as Assistant Coordinators.
Since its inception this Study Centre of IGNOU is running undergraduate programmes (BAECH, BAHIH, BAPSH, BAPAH, BASOH, BAHDH, BAEGH, BAG, BCA, BCOMG, BSWG, BTS, BLIS, BAPCH, BAVTM), post-graduate programmes ( MAH, MBA, MARD, MP, MCA, MCOM, MEC, MHD, MPA, MPS, MSA, MADE, MADVS, MLIS, MTTM, MSW MAPY, MGPS), post graduate diploma programs (PGDESD, PGDHE, PGDRD, PGDIBO, PGJMC, PGDDM, PGDSLM, PGDCA, PGDHRM, PGDFM, PGDOM, PGDMM, PGDFMP, PGDCSR), Diploma Programs (DAFE, DCE, DECE, DNHE, DTS) AND Certificate Programs (CAFÉ, CCP, CDM, CES, CFN, CNM, CHR, CNCC, CRD, CTE, CTS, CLIS, CSWCIS, CTBS, CMAD).
The total enrolment of students in these programs offered by the Study Centre were 958 in 2016, 1108 in 2017, 1114 in 2018, 811 in 2019 and 724 in the year 2020.
