The Computer Centre was established in the year 1995 with the grant provided by the UGC under the Vocational Scheme. Initially, it was started with five computers with Intel 80386 processors. From time to time the computers have been upgraded to the higher configuration. These computers have been replaced by Intel Pentium 4 processors during the year 2002. Presently there are 12 computers with Intel Core i3 processors. Two Air Conditioners have been installed in the Computer centre.

The centre is used for holding the practical classes at the undergraduate level according to the syllabi prescribed by the university. The centre is also offered for use by Study Centres of the universities having centres with the college offering courses under Distance Mode. The study centers using the computer centre include IGNOU, IDOL(discontinued now) and KKHSOU.

In addition to the Central Computer Centre, every department is also provided with a Desktop Computer exclusively for use by the department. The central Library is having 10 computers connected through LAN and internet facilities for use by the users of the library.
