About BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)
About the Course
BBA is one of the most popular bachelor degree programs after class 12. It is a 3 year professional undergraduate course in business management, which is the gateway for higher studies in different disciplines and also to numerous job opportunities in a plethora of sectors like marketing, education, finance, sales to name just a few.
This course offers knowledge and training in management and leadership skills to prepare them for management roles and entrepreneurship.
BBA Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants who have completed their H.S. (10+2 level) in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognized educational board or university can pursue BBA.
Candidates securing at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate is eligible to apply for admission into this course.
Affiliation and Approval
This BBA 3 year full time professional course is conducted in our centre as per the prescribed regulation and syllabi of Dibrugarh University.
Selection Procedure
The selection of candidate for admission into this program is made completely on merit basis. i.e. marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2) and personal interview. (PI).
On successful completion of this course, the students are awarded the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) by Dibrugarh University.
Course Structure
The BBA course is affiliated to DU and consists of six (6) semesters and each semester has 4 different papers concerned with Business Management. In 6th semester, students need to select a specialization which is available in our centre, i,e Marketing, HRM, Finance etc.

Internal Assessment
Each course has an internal assessment of 25 marks and an end semester examination of 75 marks except course 60100 (Project Study) which will be internally evaluated for the full 100 marks and course 40300 (Environmental Studies), the conduction of which will be governed by Dibrugarh University. The internal assessment is done through Class test (10 marks), Home Assignments (5 marks), GD and seminar (5 marks) and attendance (5 marks).
Attendance
As per the rules of DU, a student must attend at least 80% of classes in each paper to be able to appear in the end semester examination as a regular candidate. Students with attendance between 70% and 80% appear as non- collegiate students and need to pay a fine to appear for their examination. Those with less than 70% attendance are debarred from appearing in their end semester examination. (Except under exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the centre.)
